Police are investigating after a man was killed after a dispute in front of 7-Eleven on Monday.
Interim Police Chief Peter Newsham said at a press conference Tuesday morning that police plan to release surveillance photos of two men they believe were involved in the dispute in the 200 block of Cedar Street, NW. Newsham said the three men were outside the convenience store and arguing when one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot another man. Police have not yet released the victim’s name.
Newsham said the victim was initially taken to the hospital with what they believed were non-life threatening injuries, but he succumbed to his injuries.
