The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of 34-year-old Joe Lewis Phoenix in connection with a gun offense that occurred on May 2, 2024, in the 900 block of F Street, Northeast. Phoenix was apprehended on Mar 6, 2025, during a traffic stop, where officers linked him to the incident. He has been charged with Endangerment with a Firearm and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm.
