The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the recovery of 37 illegal firearms in Washington, D.C., from Feb 24 to Mar 3. Arrests were made in connection with several recoveries, including Michael Gilmore, 35, for possession of a "Ghost Gun" and Maxwell Henry, 39, for a Diamondback DB9. Other notable arrests include Javian Brown, 20, and Ahmad Hassan Latief, 23, for various firearm-related charges. The MPD continues its efforts to remove illegal firearms from the streets, working alongside specialized units and community members to enhance public safety.
