Police arrest three for alleged murder of Dwayne Dillard

Three men were charged with the shooting death of Dwayne Gene Dillard on July 4.

Over a period of three days, police charged Shakim Lyons, 26, Jonathan Taylor, 24, and Harry Herbert, 27. The three men were charged with second-degree murder while armed. Police had previously released a video of the suspects looking for help from the public.

According to police, Dillard and three others were shot at around 11:10 p.m. in the 2600 block of Douglas Place, SE. Dillard died from injuries sustained in the shooting.

Police are still searching for four people of interest in the case, seen in the video below.
