A homicide defendant pleaded not guilty to five charges during his felony arraignment before DC Superior Court Judge Rainey Brandt on July 21.  Richard Holmes, 36, is charged with first-degree murder while armed, robbery while armed, two counts of possession of a firearm during a crime of violence, and unlawful possession of a firearm with a prior conviction for his alleged involvement in the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Franck Foute Mohdjiom.
