Armaan Raza is a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying Environmental Policy and Economics. He chose to intern for D.C. Witness to deepen his understanding of the criminal justice system and gain firsthand experience with court proceedings and policy advocacy. Through this internship, he hopes to strengthen his investigative and writing skills while contributing to greater public transparency.
