Kiliane Gateau is a recent graduate of Loyola University Maryland, where she pursued a
dual degree and completed her studies in Journalism and Forensic Science.
As she embarks on the next phase of her academic journey, she plan to pursue a master’s degree in investigative Journalism
at the University of Maryland, commencing in the fall.
She decided to intern with D.C. Witness to expand my knowledge in data journalism and gain hands-on experience within court settings. Additionally, the organization’s unwavering commitment to promoting transparency within the criminal justice system deeply resonates with her career aspirations as an aspiring investigative reporter.
