Lizzie Brennan is a junior at UC Berkeley. She is double majoring in political science and Spanish, with a concentration in international affairs. Lizzie is passionate about social justice and plans to attend law school. In the past, she has organized a summit with ACLU D.C. to teach local high school students about their civil rights. More recently, she has interned for the California Public Research Group, during which she organized voter registrations and worked to increase political participation among her fellow students. She hopes to use her time at D.C. Witness to gain a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system and develop her journalistic writing skills.
