Mary Hutchinson is a rising senior at Duke University, majoring in English. As an Editorial Intern for D.C. Witness, she is eager to contribute to D.C. Witness’s mission: increasing transparency in the criminal justice system, while also prioritizing and producing accurate, unbiased reporting. Hutchinson is eager to learn more about the criminal justice system and to help create meaningful change. After graduation, she plans to apply to law school and pursue a career in criminal defense.
