Nashla Perez is a student at the University of California, Irvine pursuing degrees in Criminology, Law and Society and Psychological Science. Her academic work focuses on crime, human behavior, and the systems that shape the criminal justice process. She is interested in investigative work and in understanding how institutions respond to complex cases and public safety issues. She advocates for transparency, accountability, and greater access to information, with the goal of supporting families and communities seeking justice.
