Roman Kassaraba is a graduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park pursuing his Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. He is passionate in addressing the social drivers of health that influence justice-involved health outcomes in Washington, DC. Through his internship, he aims to apply his skills in study design and data analysis to identify ways to enhance the understanding of health disparities and provide further depth to data.
