The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested and charged 19-year-old Jonathan Johnson with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun) for his alleged involvement in a non-fatal shooting that occurred on May 17 on the 5300 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, NE.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the reports of gunshots and located an adult male shooting victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
