The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in investigating an Aug. 1 homicide that occurred on the Unit block of Forrester Street, SW.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the area after hearing gunshots and located an adult male shooting victim. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services pronounced the victim dead after finding no signs consistent of life.
The victim was identified as 26-year-old Darnell Gibson.
