Leah Meyer is pursuing a degree in Communications and English at the University of Colorado Boulder. She chose to intern with DC Witness because of the immense opportunity to learn and apply journalistic skillsets. DC Witness is a great way for young people to push themselves in a competitive field and solidify career aspirations. She hopes to further understand the connection between the criminal justice system and distribution of public information.
