DC Superior Court Judge Rainey Brandt issued a bench warrant for a defendant who failed to show at his hearing on May 20.
Mecca Lee’Bey is charged with distribution of a controlled substance cocaine, attempted possession of an unregistered firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm without a permit, false report to police and second degree theft for selling crack cocaine to an undercover officer on March 5.
Lee’Bey was released on his own personal recognizance on March 18.
