A defendant’s hearing was continued as counsel disagreed on the date of a future hearing.
Donte Poe is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
According to DC Courts, the defense wants a hearing to stay on the day it was previously scheduled, Aug. 12, but the prosecution wants the hearing to be earlier because the defendant was offered a pre-indictment plea deal.
Poe is currently being held without bail.
The May 27 hearing is scheduled to resume on June 25.
