A D.C. man charged with fatally shooting 22-year-old Herbert Dowtin has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.
Malik Hough, who is also 22, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder from a shooting that occurred on Dec. 27, 2016, on the 800 block of Xenia Street, SE.
Hough was sentenced on Jan. 3, 2018, after being taken into custody in January of 2017.
