The Metropolan Police Department (MPD) sent out two crime alerts between 9:00 p.m. on Sept. 2 and 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 3.
A crime alert was sent out at 12:56 a.m. due to a shooting investigation in the 900 block of Rittenhouse Street, NW. Police identified the suspect as a Black male wearing all black clothing in a red Kia vehicle.
A crime alert was sent out at 2:38 a.m. due to a robbery investigation in the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue, NE. Police identified the suspects as four Black males who were last seen in a black Jaguar vehicle.
