Baby’s death ruled a homicide, two suspects charged

The death of a 7-week-old infant has been ruled a homicide, and police announced the arrest of two people on Friday charged with her murder.

According to police, Trinity Jabore was found unconscious on Dec. 25, 2016, by officer’s responding to a report of an unconscious infant. The baby was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

An autopsy revealed the child’s cause of death was malnutrition and hyponatremia. A secondary cause of death was trauma to the baby’s body.

Trischelle Jabore, 26, and Jay Crowder, 33, were arrested on Friday and charged with first-degree murder for the baby’s death. The relation of the two suspects to the baby was not made immediately available.
