On May 20, judges at the DC Superior Courthouse released two DC Jail inmates.

There were three hearings that were in relation to emergency releases because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One bench warrant was issued for David Lucas who didn’t show up for his probation show cause hearing. Lucas was sentenced to two years on probation for attempted robbery.

Earl Moore had his bond revoked after getting arrested for another crime during his release.

Three Youth Rehabilitation Act sentences were not called or held.

Judges denied the release of Tyquell Fields. In total there were 12 defendants whose cases were heard on May 21. The cases can be read on dcwitness.org.
