On May 22, judges at the DC Superior Courthouse released three inmates.
There were three hearings that were in relation to emergency releases because of COVID-19.
One bench warrant was issued for Darius Mcknight who didn’t show up for his probation show cause hearing.
Olivia Cartwright-Cole probation show cause hearing was continued so the defendant could get into compliance with her release conditions.
The 28 year old is charged with second-degree murder while armed. She allegedly stabbed 24-year-old Joel David Midgett on the 200 block of K Street, NW in 2015. Cole is a transgender woman.
Cole is scheduled for a felony status conference on June 26.
Two co-defendant’s status hearing was not called or held
Judges did not deny any releases.
