On May 28, judges at the DC Superior Courthouse did not release any inmates.
There was one hearing that was in relation to emergency releases because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A judge ordered that medical records be shared with defense attorneys for two cases. Murder defendant Jonathan Winston also refused to attend his hearing. He is charged with the murders of 26-year-old Sean Shuler, 26-year-old Javon Abney and 24-year-old Tyrik Hagood on the 1500 block of Fort Davis Place, SE.
A judge also found probable cause that Andrew Jackson committed kidnapping while armed with a gun.
Judges denied one release.
