The Metropolan Police Department (MPD) sent out 11 crime alerts between 9:00 p.m. on Aug. 22 and 9:00 a.m. on Aug. 23.

An alert was sent out at 9:57 p.m. due to a shooting investigation in the  800 block of 21st Street, NE. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).

A crime alert was sent out at 9:48 p.m. due to a stabbing investigation in the 400 block of 23rd Place, NE. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).

A crime alert was sent out at 10:43 p.m. due to a stabbing in the 1700 block of Benning Road, NE. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).

A crime alert was sent out at 11:43 p.m. due to a shooting in the Unit block of Crittenden Street, NE. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).

A crime alert was sent out at 12:01 a.m. due to a shooting investigation in the 3500 block of Jay Street, NE. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).

A crime alert was sent out at 12:33 a.m. due to an armed robbery in the  4000 block of Fort Totten Drive, NE. Police identified the first suspect as a Black male with a slim build wearing a grey jacket, black mask and colorful shoes. The second suspect was described as a Black male with a heavyset build with a small black bag.

A crime alert was sent out at 3:20 a.m. due to a shooting in the 1800 block of 9th Street, NW. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).

A crime alert was sent out at 4:10 a.m due to a shooting in the block 1400 bock of Bangor Street, SE. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).

A crime alert was sent out at 6:40 a.m. due to a robbery investigation in the Unit block of Gallatin Street, NW. Police identified the suspects as three Black males.

A final crime alert was sent out at 6:45 a.m. due to a robbery investigation in the 1300 block of Tewkesbury Place, NW. Police identified the suspects as three Black males,

A final crime alert was sent out at 6:45 a.m. due to a robbery investigation in the 1300 block of Tewkesbury Place, NW. Police identified the suspects as three Black males wearing black clothing and one wearing a black hat with a black hoodie.
