Between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on June 9, the Metropolitan Police Department sent out three crime alerts.
The most recent alert was sent at 6:10 p.m. in reference to a shooting that occurred on the 1300 block of U Street, SE.
Before that, an alert was sent at 1:54 p.m. for a robbery on the 4700 block of Benning Road, SE. Police are looking for three black male juveniles. One of the suspects has blonde dreadlocks and is wearing a white shirt and denim jeans. The other two suspects are wearing white shirts and denim jeans. The suspects were last seen on a scooter headed towards Southern Avenue, SE.
At 10:31 a.m., an alert of a stabbing was sent out. The incident occurred on the 2300 block of 4th Street, NE. Police are looking for a black male who is 5’5″, weighing 200 pounds, wearing a blue/green shirt and blue jeans with a short bush. The suspect was last seen armed with a knife.
