Between the hours of 8 p.m. on May 3 and 8 a.m. on May 4, the Metropolitan Police Department sent out four crime alerts to the public.
The most recent alert was sent out on May 3 at 11:49 p.m. for a robbery that occurred on the 1600 block of 17th Place, SE. Police are looking for three black males, one wearing a hoodie, another wearing black jeans and the third wearing beige jeans.
A little more than an hour before the last alert, police notified the public of a shooting that occurred at 10:26 p.m. on the 1800 block of Benning Road, SE. There is no look out at this time.
An alert for a robbery was sent out at 9:19 p.m. for an incident that took place on the 4500 block of Benning Road, SE. Police are looking for a black female wearing a red bonnet on her head, a tan shirt and black shorts.
An alert was also sent out at 8:52 p.m. for a shooting that occurred on the 4600 block of Hillside Road, SE. Police are looking for a black male who is short with dark skin complexion, wearing a durag, white shirt and distressed blue jeans. He was last seen heading southbound on Southern Avenue, SE.
