The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) sent out two crime alerts between 9:00 p.m. on Sept. 7 and 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 8.
A crime alert was sent out at 12:31 a.m. due to a shooting investigation in the 200 block of V Street, NW. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).
A second crime alert was sent out at 12:40 a.m. due to a shooting in the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrence, SE. Police do not have information on the suspect(s).
