On July 14, DC Superior Court Judge Ronna Beck continued a hearing to Aug. 20 in order to give the defendant more time to consider a plea deal.
The felony domestic violence defendant was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and carrying a pistol without a license outside a home or business on April 15.
This is the second time the defense asked for more time to consider the prosecution’s plea deal. The defense attorney first requested a continuance on June 15.
