A defendant was released on May 8 but remains held at a psychiatric hospital.
Eric Anderson is charged with unlawful entry of private property, threats to do bodily harm, simple assault and violating his release conditions.
Judge Michael Ryan agreed to release Anderson after finding that he was competent to stand trial. However, Anderson was held at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, DC’s psychiatric institution, to address other issues that were not specified in court documents.
A status hearing is scheduled for July 9.
