A defense counsel asked that his defendant receive a second test.
Jarvis Burl is charged with assault with the intent to kill while armed and unlawful possession of a firearm with a prior conviction.
Burl’s attorney, Jason Tulley, requested that Burl take a second test. There is no specific information on what kind of test Tulley is requesting.
Judge Neal Kravitz urged the Department of Corrections to give Burl a second test.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 19.
