Defense Motions to Vacate a Hearing

A shearing for a man charged with a misdemeanor was vacated May 29 per the request of his defense attorney.

Michael Childress is charged with carrying a pistol while under the influence of alcohol.

Another hearing is scheduled for Aug. 11.
