The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives have arrested a suspect in connection with two assault with dangerous weapon offenses.
The first offense occurred on Jan. 7 on the 1500 block of L Street, NW around 7:53 p.m. The suspect allegedly approached the victim, brandished a knife, stabbed the victim and fled.
The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital.
The second incident occurred on Nov. 8 on the 1400 block of N Street, NW around 9:10 p.m. Again, the suspect allegedly brandished a knife and stabbed a victim before fleeing the scene.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested on Nov. 23.
