The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced an arrest has been made in connection to a shooting that killed a man on Aug. 1 on the unit block of Forrester Street, SW.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the location for the sounds of gunshots, where they located an adult male shooting victim with no signs consistent with life.
The victim was identified as 26-year-old Darnell Gibson.
On Dec. 8, pursuant to an arrest warrant from DC Superior Court, 33-year-old Irv Duff Jr. was arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed.
