The Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Homicide Branch is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on July 11 on the 1700 block of North Capitol Street, NE.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the location for the report of a man down, where they located an adult male shooting victim. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on July 12.
The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Elias Key.
