The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is requesting the public’s assistance in investigating a homicide that occurred on July 30 on the 2300 block of 13th Place, NE.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the location after reports of a shooting and identified an adult male shooting victim. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries after all life-saving efforts were attempted.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Terence Akindo.
