The Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Homicide Branch is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on July 4 on the 4000 block of Livingston Road, SE.

According to MPD documents, officers responded to the location for the report of a shooting and located an adult male shooting victim. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Nathaniel Holmes.
