Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested June 5 a juvenile for aggravated assault while armed.
After responding to reports of gunshots, officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries, according to a press release.
The case remains under investigation.
Anyone with information should call the police at 202-727-9099 or text the Department’s Text Tip Line — 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
