Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested suspects for different robbery offenses.
According to a press release, officers arrested and charged a suspect with robbery (force and violence) for allegedly assaulting a victim and taking property on May 1. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On May 7, officers arrested and charged another suspect with assault with the intent to commit robbery with a gun for allegedly approaching a victim and pulling a gun on the 1100 block of 17th Street, NE on Aug. 1, 2018. The suspect was with another individual. One of the two assaulted the victim.
The case is still being investigated.
