The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) identified the victim of a Nov. 15 homicide as 38 year-old Andrew Tillman, of no fixed address.
At around 7:07 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of 16th Street, NW.
There, they found the victim, in front of the location, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police arrested 49 year-old Dedan Williams for second-degree murder while armed that same day. He has prior arrests including assault on a police officer, simple assault, shoplifting, distribution of cocaine and drinking in public.
