The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred on the 3800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE on April 28.
According to a press release, 36 year-old Keenan Parker was a passenger in a vehicle that was travelling at a high speed. The vehicle hit a utility pole and Parker was ejected from the car. Parker died on the scene. The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the case.
