Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested a suspect for an assault with a dangerous weapon offense.
According to a press release, the suspect allegedly attempted to stab the victim during a verbal altercation on the 3200 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. The incident occurred early in the morning.
