For the second day in a row four cases that were scheduled to be called were not held at the DC Superior Courthouse.

The cases included two domestic violence cases, a sentencing and a criminal misdemeanor.

Olu Adexoya is charged with sexual assault for a 2020 domestic violence offense.

Sean Dickerson was scheduled to be sentenced after pleading guilty to destruction of property less than $1,000 in a domestic violence case.

William Rich is charged with a criminal misdemeanor for attempted threats to do bodily harm and simple assault for attempting to hit a woman after slapping her phone out of her hand on Jan. 14.

Rich, Dickerson and Adexoya are released on personal recognizance.

Another hearing was supposed to be an arraignment for a defendant who is charged with violating his terms of release. It is not clear if defendant is being held in jail or released.

Adexoya and Rich’s trials are now scheduled to occur on Aug. 4. Dickerson’s sentencing is also scheduled for Aug. 4. The other defendant’s next arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 4 as well, according to DC Courts.
