On April 12, a homicide defendant was arraigned and pleaded not guilty to all charges before DC Superior Court Judge Anthony Epstein. Corde Fitzhugh, 22, is charged with two counts of premeditated first-degree murder, five counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, two counts of attempted robbery, robbery while armed, and carrying a pistol without a license while armed for his alleged involvement in the deaths of 24-year-old Muntsier Sharfi and 26-year-old Zekariya Elmi.
