Reynaldo Diaz, 63, is charged with simple assault and attempted possession of a prohibited weapon for an incident that occurred on Sept. 9, 2019, on the 3000 block of 14th Street, NW.
Diaz awaits a request for release in relation to the COVID-19 and has a bond review hearing scheduled with DC Superior Court Judge Michael Ryan on May 6.
