A DC Superior Court judge scheduled a preliminary hearing on Nov. 12 to determine if a homicide case has enough evidence to go to trial.

Anthony Jones, 23, is charged with second-degree murder while armed in connection with the death of Cimerron Kennedy. The 29-year-old victim was shot and killed on Sept. 21 on the 3500 block of Jay Street, NE.

Judge Robert Okun scheduled the hearing for Nov. 30.
