A DC Superior Court judge rescheduled four separate hearings for the same day in August.
Judge John McCabe was scheduled to preside over four hearings on May 20. Instead, he scheduled the hearings on Aug. 5. All four defendants are charged in domestic violence cases.
Terry Harris and JcQueena Dues are scheduled for status hearings. Dues is being charged with simple assault. Harris is charged with simple assault, attempted threats to do bodily harm and destruction of property less than $1,000.
Jonathan Wiggins is scheduled to have a non-jury trial. He is also charged with simple assault.
Joeann Lewis is slated for a probation show cause after being found guilty of attempted threats to do bodily harm on Aug. 15, 2019.
Lewis was acquitted of simple assault and attempted possession of a prohibited weapon-knife during the trial. He was sentenced to six months of probation and required to take anger management classes.
All four defendants are currently released on their own personal recognizance.
