A preliminary hearing was scheduled for a defendant at the request of counsel.
The defendant is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm with a prior conviction in a domestic violence case.
Judge Juliet McKenna scheduled the hearing on June 8.
Hines is being held without bond.
