A DC Superior Court judge scheduled a hearing to determine if the case against a defendant accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend has enough evidence to go to trial.
Idrissa Fall, 33, is charged with second-degree murder while armed for allegedly shooting 29-year-old Dara Northern on the 6100 block of 4th Street, NW, on July 18.
During the Sept. 8 hearing, Judge Danya Dayson scheduled the preliminary hearing to take place on Sept. 21.
Judge Dayson also issued a stay away order from a witness at the prosecution’s request. Defense attorney Ronald Resetarits did not object to this.
