An 18-year-old from Southeast was fatally shot last Saturday morning.
Homicide detectives are investigating the death of Shaun Simmons who was found shot August 1 around 4:30 a.m. Simmons was pronounced dead at a hospital after life-saving efforts failed. Simmons, of Southeast, was found unconscious and unresponsive by police on the 1300 block of Savanah Street, SE.
