Suspended Secret Service officer Arthur Baldwin was fatally shot December 15.
Police are still investigating the shooting, which took place in the area of 4700 1st Street, SW. Police were notified of a shooting at around 2:51 that afternoon and upon finding Baldwin, 30, transported him to the hospital where he was pronounced.
According to the Washington Post, police believe the shooting may have stemmed from an attempted robbery. The paper also reports Baldwin was on leave from the Secret Service after he was charged in a domestic incident.
