A 22-year-old male was killed in the Benning Ridge neighborhood Monday.
Police found Tayvon Devonte Cummings suffering from gunshot wounds in the 4800 block of Texas Ave, SE, a little before 1 p.m. Though emergency personnel responded, Cummings was determined to be dead at the scene.
